Shipp Not on Time Against USC: UCLA swingman Josh Shipp will miss the Bruins’ Pac-10 match up against USC Saturday because of a small tear in his right hamstring. The 6-5 Shipp, UCLA’s second-leading scorer, suffered the tear during the Bruins’ first loss of the season at Oregon, a 68-66 setback. UCLA lost its top ranking after the defeat. Shipp is averaging 14.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per game as a starter this season for the Bruins. [1/11/07]
