Three Suspended for Roles in Fight: Wyoming’s Brandon Ewing and Brad Jones, the first and fourth leading scorers in the Mountain West respectively, have been suspended for the Cowboys’ upcoming game against No. 17 Air Force for their role in a fight during Wyoming’s game against New Mexico. The two account for 48 percent of Wyoming’s scoring. New Mexico’s Jamaal Smith was also suspended. The fight occurred with 1:10 remaining in an eventual 91-83 New Mexico win. Play was suspended for 15 minutes as a result of the fight. Conference officials have until Friday to extend the suspensions. [2/01/07]
