Grier Named San Diego Coach: Bill Grier, an assistant coach at Gonzaga for the past 16 seasons, will replace Brad Holland as San Diego’s new head coach. Grier, a top assistant with the Bulldogs, helped the team win 11 regular-season West Coast Conference championships and nine WCC Tournament titles and obtain NCAA Tournament berths nine straight times and 10 overall.
