NCAA: NCAA Basketball Grows Its Three-Point Line

NCAA Basketball Grows Its Three-Point Line: The NCAA is moving the men’ s basketball three-point line back one foot in 2008, expanding it from 19 feet, 9 inches to 20 feet, 9 inches. The decision was made by the Playing Rules Oversight Panel after the men’s basketball rules committee recommended the measure May 3. The new rule will apply to all three college divisions. The three-point line will not change in women’ s basketball. [5/22/07]
