Wyoming: Wyoming Gets Solid Guard for the Future

Wyoming Gets Solid Guard for the Future: Cowboys coach Heath Schroyer announced that former Wichita State point guard Sean Ogirri will transfer to Wyoming and become eligible to play after the 2007-08 season. The 6-2 Ogirri, who led Wichita State to the Sweet 16 in 2006, will have to wait a year to join new teammates Brad Jones and Brandon Ewing because of NCAA transfer rules. Schroyer said he was excited about the newcomer. Ogirri averaged 17.5 points per game as a sophomore in the 2006 NCAA tournament. His Shockers beat Tennessee before being ousted by George Mason a round later. [5/25/07]
