Archibald Named Huskies’ Director of Basketball Operations: Beau Archibald has been named Connecticut’s director of basketball operations, bringing him back to the Huskies. He played nine games for the Huskies in the 1999-2000 season before knee injuries forced him to retire. He is replacing Patrick Sellers, who moved up to assistant coach after the departure of Tom Moore to Quinnpiac. [6/12/07]
