NBA Draft ’07 – Durant Goes to Seattle: Texas forward Kevin Durant, the consensus National Player of the Year, was selected second overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Seattle Sonics. Durant, a freshman, led the Big 12 in scoring (25.8 ppg), rebounding (11.1 rpg) and blocked shots (1.9 bpg). He also set Big 12 single-season records averaging 28.9 points and 12.5 rebounds in conference play. [6/28/07]
