NBA Draft ’07 – Boston Goes Green : Georgetown junior forward Jeff Green was selected fifth overal by the Boston Celtics in the NBA Draft. The 2007 Big East Player of the Year, Green averaged 14.3 points per game, along with 6.4 boards and 3.2 assists per game. Update: In a draft-day move, the Celtics traded the rights to Green to Seattle, along with Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West, for guard Ray Allen and the rights to the 35th pick of this 2007 Draft.
