George Mason: Konkol Starts Second Stint With Patriots

Konkol Starts Second Stint With Patriots: George Mason has rehired Eric Konkol as an assistant coach. He worked for the Patriots from 2002 to 2005 before leaving the team to work as an assistant at North Dakota State and a high school coach in Minnesota. The native of Wisconsin helped recruit and teach the George Mason squad that made the Final Four the year after he left the school. Konkol replaces Scott Cherry, who moved west to become an assistant coach at Western Kentucky. [7/12/07]
