Hokie Guard Leaves Blacksburg: Virginia Tech will allow sophomore point guard Nigel Munson to leave the Hokies and transfer to another school. Munson wants to return closer to his Washington, D.C., home to continue his collegiate career. The likely replacement for graduated point guard Jamon Gordon averaged 3.0 points and 1.1 assists per game in limited time. With Munson out, coach Seth Greenberg will probably turn to one of two freshmen to lead the team — Malcolm Delaney or Hank Thorns. [7/27/07]
