UCLA: UCLA Rewards Howland’s Success

UCLA Rewards Howland’s Success: UCLA coach Ben Howland took the Bruins to back-to-back Final Fours for the first time since legendary coach John Wooden was sitting on the sidelines. The university recognized Howland’s success by giving Howland a new seven-year contract worth $1.5 million per season and $2 million in his final season. Howland has been UCLA’s coach since 2003, when he left Pittsburgh to take the Bruins job. [10/4/07]
