NIT Tweaks 2008 Season Tip-Off Tournament: The NIT has revised the format of its Season Tip-Off Tournament for the third time in three years in an effort to make the early season tournament more appealing to teams and fans. Starting in 2008, all teams in the tournament will play four games. Through this season, the Season Tip-Off Tournament has included two rounds at four campus sites. The winners then go to New York for the semifinals and championship while the losers go home. Next year, those losers in the first two rounds will continue playing at campus sites. [10/23/07]
