Prolific Banks Won’t Return in 2007: Arkansas State won’t have its senior leader until 2008. The team has suspended senior guard Adrian Banks through Jan. 1 after he was arrested for firing a gun in Jonesboro city limits. Through six games, Banks was averaging 21.7 points per game. Coach Dickey Nutt looks forward to Banks returning to the Indians’ lineup and hopes that the senior will learn from this incident. [12/11/07]
