Cardinal to Lose Twin Towers: Stanford sophomore centers Brook and Robin Lopez will leave the Cardinal for the NBA Draft. The 7-foot twins led Stanford this season to a Sweet 16 appearance, where the Cardinal lost to Texas. Brook Lopez established himself as a dominating force, averaging 19.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. His offensive game is more polished than Robin’s right now, but Robin is the better defensive player. Robin Lopez averaged 10.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. They said they plan to continue to work to get their degrees from Stanford. [4/01/08]
