Kentucky Freshman Goes Under the Knife: Kentucky freshman forward Patrick Patterson had surgery on his left ankle to repair a stress fracture, and it will take four to six months to heal. Patterson averaged 16.4 points and 7.7 rebounds in 25 games for the Wildcats. Guard Jodie Meeks might also need to have surgery to repair a sports hernia. [4/03/08]
