Griffin Will Stay in School: Oklahoma freshman center Blake Griffin will return to the Sooners for at least one more season. The freshman star averaged 14.7 points and 9.1 rebounds per game as one of the Big 12’s top freshmen. However, he was overshadowed by Kansas State’s Michael Beasley in the conference. Although he did not garner as much attention as others, some scouts predicted that Griffin would be a lottery pick this year. Oklahoma earned a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament this season before losing to Louisville in the second round. [4/10/08]
