Martin Stays A Wildcat: Frank Martin became Kansas State’s coach in summer 2007 and now has signed a retroactive five-year contract to keep him with the Wildcats through the 2011-12 season. Martin was only the second rookie coach in school history to lead his team to an NCAA Tournament berth. The Wildcats were 21-12 and beat Southern California for their first NCAA Tournament victory in 20 years before losing to Wisconsin in the second round.
