Oklahoma State: Top Prep Recruit to Leave Juco for NBA

Top Prep Recruit to Leave Juco for NBA: In 2005, Keith Brumbaugh was one of the top recruits in college basketball. But after one year of playing in junior college – as well as some jail time – Brumbaugh is ready to pursue the NBA. The 22-year-old Brumbaugh was Mr. Basketball in Florida and signed with Oklahoma State out of high school but never became eligible with the Cowboys. He played for Hillsborough Community College in Tampa last year and led the nation with 36.5 points, 10 boards, six assists, and five steals per game. Brumbaugh, a likely second-round pick, was once arrested six times over a 26-month span and has served two prison sentences.
