Zips Player Shoots at Police: Akron sophomore Rydell Brooks was arrested Sunday morning and charged with attempted murder and felonious assault after police say he shot at them following a traffic stop. They said Brooks ran from his car and shot at them several times while they chased him. Brooks arrived in Akron after spending a year at Niagara, where he averaged 4.7 points per game. [5/19/08]
