Knee Troubles End Season for Polynice: Mississippi junior forward Eniel Polynice will miss all of this season after he had surgery today to remove lose cartilage in his left knee. Polynice injured the knee at the end of last season and had athroscopic surgery. Although he recovered well during the summer, Polynice was bothered by the knee before the Rebels’ first game against Arkansas State Nov. 14. Polynice averaged 10.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game last season as one of the most versatile players in the SEC. He will apply for a medical redshirt to maintain two years of eligibility.
