Tennessee junior forward Wayne Chism was carried off the court on a stretcher after blocking a shot by Louisiana-Lafayette’s La’Ryan Gary and landing on his back. Trainers placed a neck brace on Chism, who led the Volunteers to an 89-62 win with 18 points and 15 rebounds before the injury. There is no word yet about the extent of Chism’s injury. He averages 11.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for the Volunteers.
