Eastern Washington coach Kirk Earlywine will be back on the bench for the Eagles after missing the team’s 57-48 loss at Boise State Dec. 29 while he dealt with a legal issue connected to a recent drunk driving arrest. Spokane police arrested Earlywine Dec. 26 on suspicion of driving under the influence. The coach said he recognizes the seriousness of the situation but will work through it.
