No. 2 Portland State junior forward Julius Thomas dunked the winning basket with three seconds to go in the game to give the Vikings a 79-77 Big Sky championship against No. 6 Montana State. Junior forward Branden Johnson helped the Bobcats fight back from a 10-point disadvantage in the second half with a game-tying three-pointer with 14 seconds to go. Senior guard Jeremiah Dominguez led the Vikings with 22 points and five assists.
