Colorado State: Miles and Baruth Reunite With the Rams

Colorado State coach Tim Miles has hired Randy Baruth to be director of basketball operations. The two worked together at North Dakota State from 2002 to 2004 when Miles was the Bisons’ coach. A university press release mentions Baruth’s latest work.

Baruth spent the last five seasons as an assistant coach at Northern State University under Wolves head coach Don Meyer, who ranks first all-time in college basketball history for coaching wins. During the 2007-08 season, Northern State posted a 29-4 record and was ranked in the Division II Top 25 for nearly the entire season.

“Randy is a fantastic individual that will bring a wealth of experience to our program,” said Miles. “Randy is highly organized and possesses a work ethic that is second to none. He will make a major contribution to our program.”
