Eddie Sutton will get his due and be inducted into the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame Oct. 4, according to a report from the Associated Press. Sutton is a native of Bucklin, Kan. Sutton coached at Creighton, Arkansas and Kentucky before working at his alma mater, Oklahoma State, from 1990-2006. He retired in 2006 with a record of 798-315. He came out of retirement a year later and won six more games while coaching San Francisco. Sutton is the first basketball coach to lead four different schools to NCAA Tournament appearances.
