Duke: Czyz Out a Month After Knee Surgery

Duke freshman forward Olek Czyz will need four weeks of rehab after having surgery to remove loose cartilage in his right knee. Czyz played sparingly in his first season with the Blue Devils, averaging 0.6 points and 0.9 rebounds in 3.9 minutes per game. Coach Mike Krzyzewski said in a university press release that he’s looking forward to Czyz’s return and development.

“Olek had minor knee surgery last week and is expected to make a full recovery,” said head coach Mike Krzyzewski. “We are looking forward to Olek getting back out on the court to continue his development in our program.”
