College of Charleston: Cremins Signs Two-Year Extension

College of Charleston coach Bobby Cremins signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him with the Cougars through 2014, according to a Southern Conference release.

Cremins has 28 years of coaching experience under his belt. In three seasons with Charleston, he’s 65-37 and has made two conference championship game appearances. Last season, the Cougars went 27-9 and reached the second round of the College Basketball Invitational.

Cremins earned his 500th career win in December.

“We are thrilled to have Bobby Cremins as our head basketball coach,” athletic director Joe Hull said.  “Bobby is a proven winner, a terrific person and a great fit for the College of Charleston.”
