West Virginia: Bryant Trucks Through Traffic Charges Unscathed But Remains Suspended

Suspended West Virginia guard Darryl “Truck” Bryant will not face jail time in court cases regarding two minor traffic accidents that occurred during the summer, an Associated Press report states.

Bryant pleaded no contest last week to ditching the scene of a July 4 accident and not giving information or help. Two other charges were dismissed, and Bryant was fined $200.

The point guard, who will remain suspended by the team, had pleaded no contest last month to similar charges related to a June 21 incident in which he hit a West Virginia student outside a nightclub. The student wasn’t seriously hurt.
