According to an Associated Press report, the West Coast Conference tournament will be sponsored by Zappos.com until 2012. WCC and its partner, IMG College, reached a three-year deal with the company for it to exclusively market, promote and own the media rights of the men’s and women’s basketball championships.
Financial terms of the deal were not available. The WCC championships are played at the 7,800-seat Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
