Kansas coach Bill Self has suspended guard Brady Morningstar for the rest of the first semester after the junior was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, according to an Associated Press report.
Police stopped Morningstar on the Kansas Turnpike at about 3:30 Saturday morning, and online records indicate that he was released on bond a few hours later.
Morningstar averaged 6.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 30.4 minutes per game last season.
