UCLA: Bruins Lose Honeycutt to Stress Reaction

UCLA freshman forward Tyler Honeycutt will miss about a month while recovering from a stress reaction in his right leg, according to the Sporting News’ Mike DeCourcy.

Honeycutt is the prize recruit in UCLA’s freshman class and figured to see plenty of action early in the season, especially with several other Bruins on the injured list. Jerime Anderson, James Keefe, Malcolm Lee and Mike Moser all are battling illness or injury as the season gets under way Nov. 16 against Cal State Fullerton.
