Saint Mary’s guard Wayne Hunter will miss the rest of the season after tearing his left ACL during a game at Utah State Dec. 5, according to a university release.
Hunter, a fifth-year senior, averaged 11.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in seven games for the Gaels. Although he could be eligible for a sixth season if he applies for a medical hardship, it’s unclear if Hunter – who’ll have surgery later this month – will be back for 2010-11.
